Call Center - Customer Education or What?

Well this is kinda strange because what I'm about to share happen on a particular call of an agent with a customer asking for an information on how was the service works....

At the customer sign up for vonage and once the customer received the Telephone Adapter, the customer decide to send it to Lebanon were in the customer family lives, the customer has a U. S. non Vonage Telephone number...

Now! the customer is asking that if her family call her using the Vonage phone which is physically located in Lebanon and has a U. S telephone number, will her vonage line be charge for Long Distance or International call...The Representative replied "No mam because you have unlimited Local and Long Distance for your Vonage Line in Lebanon, since it has U.S. Telephone number"...Good the customer is very appreciative knowing that it will be a flat rate for her...

2nd question of the customer ..."If I call my Vonage Telephone in Lebanon using a Non-Vonage telephone in the United States will I be charged for Long Distance or Intenational call"....and the agent answered will full conviction and confidence "YES MAM"...

When I over heard this I can't keep myself for not reacting because the agent have not gathered enough information on how the call will be place....the agent need to know the Non-Vonage number and she need to check if the it will be long distance from the originating call which is from a different provider, that is the first thing that the agent need to find out....

The sad part is that the agent wouldn't want to listen and the representative will stick to the 1st answer which is the customer will be charge and I felt bad and almost shout at the agent to try and check the tools to find out if it is Long Distance or not...nothing happen...I am sorry for this particular customer for the misinformation....

Originally the customer signed up for Vonage so that she will be able to save money whenever she wanted to call her family abroad, were in fact after the call I did check and find out that it will be local calling for her....I ask the agent to call back the customer and apologize for the wrong information that was given to her.....I just don't know if the agent did call the customer back....

I dont know if the agent is so tired for the day that she got confuse but this is not the first incident happen....

I am still happy that I am part of Early Life Queue of Vonage because I got to learned more and help more people understand how Vonage service works....

First I received an e-mail Michael Anderson and DanaGrey (dont know if this a real person's name) mentioning that I have won SWISS ON-LINE LOTTERY - that I have been chosen for their random raffle whatsoever and I did reply asking what this all about, then another mail come in giving me detailed information of my winning that I could collect it from ScarLet Courier LTD, then they asked money for delivery charge and SWISS ON-LINE LOTTERY will send me the original certificates as soon as I pay ScarLet Courier LTD about the delivery charges...

Why in the world I will pay something that is unsure, and If I really won, they can simple take of the amount they need for me to receive what ever document that require for me to claim my winning.....

The bottom line did not send any amount for this....HAHAHHA

DeselectBloggerImageGracefully - this has been a mistake from my end, I created a new blog/website and so happen that I copied pictures from a different site without the knowledge of the Website owner/author, and since I am new to this blogging things, I didn't know that I am violating a copyright since i did not ask any permission from the original owner of the said pictures/images...from the time I have learned this mistake I immediately deleted the pictures/images that I have copied from different website...and my sincere apology if I didn't know...certainly I don't want to create any trouble or any wrong doing...

I remember the time when Nathan's Grandma use to carry him, before she had an operation because for quite sometime grandma cant carry him until her wound heals.....

Easy Way to Earn Money online !!!

I've been doing a lot of reading lately about Private Label Rights (PLR) content. I used to think that it was only for lazy people who didn't want to do their own writing. But as I learn more, I've come up with lots of great ways I can use PLR in my own business.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, PLR is content that you get from the original author along with their permission to use it as your own. So you can get a great report, put your name on it and have your own product to sell or give away!

The first couple of products I created using PLR only took me about half an hour. There have been a few sales so far from them so that was definitely time well spent.

When searching for PLR content to use, I found there were a lot of different types of sites available. Some offered monthly memberships and others offered just one time purchases. So be sure to look around before you decide where to buy.

The site I found that was by far the best was PLRWholesaler. Not only do they have an unbelievable amount of content, but it's completely FREE. Most sites charge an arm and a leg for the amount of content that this guy is giving away.

And although I haven't been through everything yet, what I have read is very good quality. It's stuff you would actually want to use as your own.

Since it's free, I highly recommend that you check out PLRWholesaler and see if they have anything that you can use in your business. There just may be an ebook or audio recording that you could quickly brand with your information and start selling to your list.

Galera - A get Away....

Puerto Galera is one of the popular place to spend your vacation, It's located in Mindoro, I came to this place once or twice a year, it doesn't matter which time of the year you preferred, but the best time is holy week...
During Holy Week, you will not believe how many people from walks of life came to enjoy the holidays here....Month of May is good too, most foreigners came during this time to enjoy the rest of Philippines summer....

What I like about Puerto Galera, aside from the fact that I got there with my friends, love ones, office mates or sometimes with my family, I really enjoy the beach, I see to it that when I come and visit this place is I go snorkeling, boat riding, the disco at night.

If we visit Galera during Holy week we also see to it that we visit the church...Its only 15 minutes away from White beach on tricycle ride, we do this to pay our respect to Christ...


I must say that I a small paradise that you can get to go to even once a year.....

Check out this tropical island and experience a simple get away from city...

Puerto Galera is 1hr boat ride away from Batangas pier and at least 2hrs ride away from Manila....

I have been blogging since May of this year (2008), at first I have difficulty of what topic to write and this suppose to be intended for Queen of Marulas pageant only, but since this is a personal blog and Queen of Marulas is so happen to be a once a year event and I decided to blog my personal interest to gain more readers....

Vonage ELQ (Early Life Queue), Its been a tiring week for all of us under the Vonage ELQ project, we are so please that the outcome by the end of the week is appealing because on out first day, we are on the adjustment stage and bit by bit we learned the process....

Vonage Early Life Queue Agent

Vonage - Early Life Queue launched last September 15, on our the first I must say that since that it wasn't easy, since we are being transitioned from being a Welcome Department agent which is an outbound campaign to Early Life Queue agents, where in fact its an inbound environment, and it a big step for us outbound agents.

It's a great challenge for all of us, and it is exciting......

First i want to apologize if I feature an incident on this department, for this particular agent have difficulty dealing with customers...

There is this one incident that when she received a call, and the customer asking for help to resolve and issue, and this agent keep on repeating the same questions over and over again and the customer got upset and ask for a supervisor and after four times of asking the agent did escalate the call to a supervisor and the customer said that she love Vonage and she dont have problem with the service but the thing is she got really upset with the agent for asking the same question numerous time and since the issue cant be resolve at the moment and the customer need to wait for sometime before her request can be completed and thats the only thing needed to be done on the call which is to educate the customer that it can't be resolve at the moment....

That was yesterday...and today, I don't know what wrong with her because she happen to transfer a customer over to a customer service department, were in fact we are both basic install and customer care representative altogether, her reason was she need to transfer the customer to customer service department because she can't full up the account, and according to her the informations that the customer gave her won't let her to get into the customer account...

The thing is, our supervisor just so happened barging her call at the moment and our supervisor were able to get into the customer account from his end...and he did tell that to the agent, the agent alibi is that the account number is not the number for the customer account, but it is and the customer gave it numerous time, aside from the fact that the customer also provide her various information in regards to the account...

So in total she was not able to help the customer and it took her more than 20 minutes trying to get into the customer account...

Even at the moment I still have mixed feeling towards the agent for what had happened I don't know if I will pity her or will I get angry with her, I don't know if she really have a problem....

During training I still remember that we need extend time on a particular topic, for her to understood what the discussion is all about, and in the end she still have problem on it...

I hope that she will able to learned the tools, that we use now and she need to focus on her call and need to listen and understand the customer for she carry the companies image...

I very seldom watch reality television shows... today I have witnessed the Pinoy Dream Academy Grand Dream Night....

I I have the chance to watch this reality TV show...I can say that I enjoy it and I must say that my favorite scholar is Liezel, I love her voice, I find her simple, for what I've seen on TV and I have watched her performance and I can say that she's got the potential of becoming a star.....

I want to congratulate all the 6 grand star dreamer for their performance is amazing....


Laarni Lozada is our Pinoy Dream Academy Grand Star Dreamer, I have noticed her big improvement from the day she started inside the academy....It's a good thing for her that Chivas got sick and he was force to leave the academy because if not for that incident, it was her who's going to leave the academy instead of Chivas..

Still you have shown and proved that your worthy to what you have won tonight...Thanks your supporter...






The 2nd placer is Bugoy Drillon, I really cant say so much about him, all I know is that he is funny like what his co-scholar says... The only thing that I have notice when he sing is that aside from the energy that he have every time he perform is up to the roof... He can also play with his voice and for his dancing WOW! so graceful...

Vonage customer care department has come to a new way of servicing their customer which each and every one of us will be able to resolve customer issues in just one call.....

Basically this new department is being formed for the benefit of customers who recently sign up for Vonage....

Vonage new customer that have issues in regards to installing the Telephone Adapter, problems with their online acct, how certain feature works and any other concern that they have encountered during their first 90 days of having Vonage service...

To all Vonage customer out there who happen to have problem with the service...especially if your new to VOIP.....there is now a department that can assist you and very much willing to help.....

I still remember the day that a special someone left for Qatar and it's nearly 2 moths since that someone leave, but as I think of that special person and count the days, it felt like seems years...

As I wrote this, I am thinking and reminiscing all the days that we spent together, happy moments, it's only a way to get rid of the loneliness for what I felt through out the days and weeks that I haven't seen that special someone...

It's good that I can spoke and see my someone on the web once in awhile but it's still not enough...

It's still make a difference when you were able to touch and caress each other...

I will still counting hours, days, weeks and months and hoping that it will soon be possible, and I know it wont be long....

One thing that will always stay is that I will always be the same...and that's forever...

It's a good thing to have this following features for bloggers because aside from the fact you will get the change to follow your favorite blog you will also be able to learn more things, facts and ideas to your follower and vice versa to whom your following.

New LOB (Line of Business)

Just last Thursday, I have found that I will be included in the new LOB for Vonage, Vonage is one of the client of Vision X . The new LOB (Line of Business) called Early Life Queue.

At first I don't see myself for this LOB since I am with Welcome Call Department, where in we call vonage newly sign up customer and help them installing the device that they get from Vonage and use VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) phone service, as well to manage their VOA (Vonage Online Account).

Welcome call is a very easy account and I must say that I really hate leaving the said project.
It's so happen that my name was listed as one of the people to be transfer for Early Life Queue Department.

This time it's an inbound account and we suppose to help people who just sign up with Vonage if they have issues in regard to installing the Telephone Adapter that they've got.
Like what I have said, I don't want to be transfer but as the training goes on, I find it challenging and the good thing is that I will be able to help more customer and I will be able to address their issues in regard to their account or any concern in particular, like the features that is included on the package that they sign up for, it's about 25 features or more, or if they have problems when it comes to porting their existing phone number over to Vonage etc....

I just hope that whatever impressions that company have given us will stick even after the training or should I say when hit the floor and start receiving calls...

I'm looking forward for the success of this new LOB, if this really works and we are able to help more customer, I know for a fact that we are not only helping customers but we know that we did something good for Vonage and Vision X.

I am thankful that I am part of this LOB.... Since this is a pilot account, I will try to do my best to have it worked not for Vision X nor Vonage but for the benefit of the consumers.....

Call Center Benefits and Incentives - Unreasonable!

I have been working for a call center company "Vision X Inc., Philippines (VXI)" for nearly five years now, I can say that i did enjoy working for this company due to many reason, the work environment is great, the people you work with are nice and very approachable. You get to have your own station, aside from the fact that its yours because you share it with no one.

Its so frustrating that after all this year working for them it seems that the changes of how they should give the incentives or benefits to their people becomes unreasonable.....

First and foremost i can say that the basic salary is good but when it comes to benefits, thats where the problem starts including overtime pay.....

Beginning of this year there was a tremendous changes to our health card, before the coverage of it is amounting to P 100,000.00, then when they renew it, the coverage went down to P 60,000.00 with the same amount with your beneficiaries, we were able to understand their reasons because of the sudden changes of the plan given to them by the health card company and the alloted budget that they have is only sufficient to the said amount and they mention that they will work on it once they renew the contract with the health company but as of this moment they cannot do any changes due to the alloted budget that they have...So they cant do anything and we understood.

Now, just this week a new memo was release for a so called "Perfect Attendance Bonus", we have this kind of bonus were in, If you come to work for a whole week without late or absences you will get a bonus on P 1,250.00 on the top of your basic salary per week, its a good thing knowing that you get this amount just coming in to work everyday and not be late....The memo that was release, stating that you work for two weeks you will still get your P 2,500.00/2 worked weeks, but you will only receive P 1,250.00 per cut off for every two weeks of perfect attendance and the other half will be bucketed for the span of three (3) months, and you wont be able to get it after that but instead you need to wait for another three (3) months before they gave it to you.

Imagine, they will going to save your money on their bank for that long, example: if you have perfect attendance for the month of October, November and December, they will release your bucketed money for the said months will be on April, Its so unreasonable why they need to keep our money that long and why would we have to wait that long before we can get of the said benefit, and knowing that you earned it.

We know that this is a benefit and according to labor law, they can make changes to the benefits that you get from a company because its a benefit or incentives given to an employee and it's their discretion when or how they want to give it.

The sad part is that, it suppose to be P 1,250.00 per week and they changed it to P 2,500.00 per two weeks and you only get one half per cut off....Thats a big thing that if you have 1 absent or late for the said cut off you will certainly lost the entire amount where in before if you were absent/late for a week and was able to perfect the other week you still get P1,250.00.

And that not all, if you resign or get terminated prior to the release of the bucketed money, you wont get any of it.

Personally,I don't see any logical explanation to this changes, all I know is that they are doing this and playing smart with their people, imagine how many people work for VXI, and each and every agent who rendered perfect attendance will have P 1,250.00 bucketed money per cut off and multiply to the numbers of agents working for them, Keep it in the bank for 6, 5 and 4 months, how much interest would they get....A lot, right? Aside from the fact that if you resign prior to the said release schedule, because like what i have mentioned, it will not be given to you in anyway and definitely it will not be a part of your back pay.

I know that VXI, Phils., is putting a lot of money for they own building that will rise somewhere is Pasay City or Makati, I don't know where exact location of this new VXI building... Is this one of their strategy to raise money, I don't think this is good, are they trying to build their own building from money that suppose to go to their people...Think again?

VXI, I know that you are smart and wise, but please be more convincing with your reasonings and don't tell us that this worked with different LOB (Line of Business) and they love it, because how can you appreciate it, if you have budget to consider every payout and knowing that a certain amount from your salary is been taken out.

If you were on our shoes and there was a proposal given to you that after you have delivered it. You will get your paid after 6 months upon completion of the said proposal, wouldn't you feel betrayed?

I just want you to realize how bad this things on the side your employees like me...who worked hard, not only for myself but for the welfare of my family, and the amount that you are taken from my paycheck is like tw0 600g of milk for my baby or more.....

Dreamworks Organization is the one who conceptualized and created Queen of Marulas, this year is the first ever Queen of Marulas, We the Dreamworks organization vision for this pageant is to help the youngsters to develop their personality, to enhance their ability as an individual that they may learn more from this pageant and they can use this as a tool for a better future for them, basically its very simply, help the youth for they are the key a good and better future of mankind.

Nathan's 1st Birthday Party

View Nathan's very first birthday party. Checked the compilation of pictures down below. It's a simple party with family, friends and love ones. We wish to thank all the people who come to this party, we know that its not much of a party but were just thankful that we are able to celebrate his very 1st birthday. This party would not be possible if you're not there and our sincere thanks to each and every one of you. Here is Nathan on his very first swimming with his Family, Friends.....This was taken during Lola Cora's birthday....When we first put him on the pool, he cries as if he was terribly hurt but when he get use to it and if you take him off the pool he will complain and want to dive again...Every body loved him, Check the video or photo slide to see who are the people with him...of course Family Zapata, his mommy, daddy Richard, and Daddy Ernie is the one taking the photos.
