Twilight - Movie!

I almost forgot, last Wednesday, myself, Cjhay and Yhey, watch the movie Twilight. Before that day I overheard my office mate’s talks about this film. They sounded very excited that this particular movie will show at last.

The following day, I encourage Cjhay and Yhey to watch this movie and they both agreed. The movie is about a vampire and human fall in love, the approached about vampires in this movie is really different to what we normally see or read, for there is no fangs seen in this movie, no blood sucking scene and there is no coffin.

The funny part is when Edward Culler (Robert Pattinson) told Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) that if human has vegetarian, they are the type of vampires similar to that for they don't drink human blood, only animals.

I was really fascinated by the film and learned that this film can from Stephanie Meyer novel and there are 2 more out in the market in continuation which is New Moon and Eclipse and according to an article that I read currently she is working for the fourth book entitled Breaking Dawn.

I am now on the process of buying all three books for I want to know what will happen next and hoping that before I finished book three "Eclipse", Breaking Dawn is already in the market.

It's an awesome movie, I really appreciate it and after I have watched, the next day I end up encouraging my friends and my officemates watch the movie, it's really different and loves it.

Miss you Friend!!!

I and Leslie work for the same company and we also live in the same vicinity, before we go home together from work, but since I got back to Welcome department from Early Life Queue (ELQ) and Leslie moved to another apartment which is closer to my place, we decided to go to work and head back home together.

We're been doing this for nearly a month, then she decided to apply for a promotion as a Quality Assurance Analyst, (Congratulation friend) she got the promotion, we are expecting her training to start last Monday but she was told that it will later because the allotted slot is only up 30 trainees.

Last Monday I called her before I left home for work, like always I need to pick her up, for we got to worked together and no one’s pick up the call, I even try calling her mobile phone same thing, still I drop her place to see and all the lights are off.

I go to work alone that night and to my surprise, she is already there and she told me that she was inform that her training starts on that very evening and she said sorry for not informing any sooner.

It's already been two days, I must say that I misses you friend...I still remember are experiences together, the flood at Mac Arthur's highway, the bus incident and lastly the Monumento scenery.

In totality what I miss the most is your companionship, we eat together, and we talk about so many things like our families and a lot more....

Wish you all the luck with your new position and hoping that you will remember to drop by my station formerly yours. Yes I was assigned to take your station and that reminds me more of you.

Can't Sleep - Watch Pinoy meets World (Chile)

After I have finished my weekend chores, I went to sleep and woke up round 12:00mn and have a very late dinner. I asked Cjhay to join me and he did, Yhey is watching Pinoy meets World ad they are featuring the country Chile who currently have a lady President (her Excellency Michelle Bachelet).

I have learned that NASA build a large airport there for emergency landing for NASA aircraft had an emergency landing in Santiago, Chile back in August 2003. The airport that NASA build is far bigger that Chile airport itself.

They also featured the Easter Island in Chile which happens to be a 5 hours plane ride from the main island. Easter Island or Rapa Nui is one of the best tourist spot they have, what really catches my attention are the Moia statues and even the native people of this Island can't explain how did the early people was able to transfer those statues made by stones for it's really gigantic. I only watch up to this part.

I decide to go back to sleep but no matter how hard I tried to fall asleep, I ended wide awake. I can't sleep so I ended up facing my computer, play games, check e-mail and write about this blog and will watch movie after.

Hoping to fall asleep while watching movie....Mirrors....

One Day Off

Thanks it's Sunday once again and I am looking for this every week, not to rest but to have time for my other house chores, I've got the time to clean my place. Every day off I see to it that I clean those areas that really need to pay attention like underneath my bed, behind the refrigerator, cabinets and I also scheduled rearranging my closet.

For this week we only have one day off, since I am with outbound department (Welcome) and during holiday we are not allowed to call out, besides you will love to talk to you during holiday, especially thanks giving day. Our work schedule for next week will be from Monday to Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Really I don't know how people in the United States celebrates thanks giving all I know, friends and family members gathered to have a wonderful dinner with turkey. Thanks giving, one of my friends told me long time ago that during this time people share their blessings thanks their love ones. For me as a person, I don't wait a particular day to thank someone or our creator for I always thankful that I leave each day to the fullest and share it with my friends, my family and my love ones, including my enemy (joke).

I hate to have people hated me or vice versa for I can't help thinking of it for I always smile even if I have full of problems because I believe that problems will always be a problem unless you face it and take the consequences for the truth will always set you free...

New LOOKs!!!

Some of my friends keep on saying that I should have a haircut already for I look older having a long hair. At first I ignored it but I came to realize that they are right, One day I look in the mirror and see the big change in my looks for I look like someone who has not slept for days.

I have decided to have my hair cut short and dye to hide my gray hairs for they were to many and very noticeable.

I was Sick!!!

I wasn't able to blog for the past 2 days for I was sick, having colds. When I get home from work, as much as I want to go online and update my blog or check my e-mail, I felt so tired and exhausted and end up in bed.

Today! I know that I need to do something for I can't afford to neglect or not update my blog anymore, because it's one thing I really hate to missed.

I just need to take more fluids and hoping that this sickness will soon go away and hoping to never return.....:)

Christmas Decoration - Part 3!!!

Despite of what I am feeling, I still find time to continue and finished my Christmas decoration with the help of my friend Yhey, you will also notice that we also change our curtain and thanks to Abhoy, he just came and to our surprise the bring us a new set of curtains, instantly we replace my old curtain with this new one.

I like the curtain but it seems to loud for my window, since Christmas is near I took into consideration putting it on.

It Hurts....!

There are times when problems, obstacles, and hindrances arises and it seems that you have nowhere to turn to....You just seated in one corner thinking of what could be the best solutions for all of your worries.

Sometimes you seek assistance and you are very thankful that there are people who are willing to lend their hands to help and assist you and very much willing to listen. You are so thankful that they are there to brighten up your days, cheer you up, guide you, give you advices and most of all they will have you realized that you are still lucky. For this is only a part of life that will soon passes by and that you will help you become more stronger and a better person.

During this time of my life, I thank my friends, my family for they are my inspiration, thinking of them makes me fight and live no matter what, sometimes I felt that I am about to give in but on the back of my head, I must not and I know that after the rain there will be a brighter sun.

The only thing that really disappoint me is that a person that also care is the least being that will understand what I am going through, It felt bad that you gave so much and understand them, tried to do your best to provide what they wish for, I have never asked anything in return for what I did but a little understanding will mean so much knowing that it is coming from the person/people that you also cared for aside from your family for they are also a part of yourself.

It felt that my heart been teared into pieces. I kept quite for I have no more words to say but despite of my troubles they still intend to hurt me more and do things that I will not permit.

It hurts.....

Christmas Decoraton - part 2!!!

Last weekend, I have started decorating my place for Christmas and I believe Philippines has the longest time when it comes to celebrating Christmas and that starts every 16th of December with Morning Mass...

Morning Mass is one of Philippines tradition and people get up early and go to church as early as 4:00am to attend the morning mass and most people complete the 10 days of morning mass and hoping that their wishes will come true....

I will provide more details about morning mass later, but now checked out my Christmas decors for I have no intention on putting a Christmas tree inside my pad for there will be no more rooms left for us....

How to Deal with Irate Customer?

Since I worked as a technical support representative in one of the call center here in the Philippines, there are instances that you will encounter an irate customer on the call but customer normally got upset or irate only if they are misinformed or they don't get the service that they deserved.

As a technical support representative, I see to it that the customer gets a good impression during the entire time that I am taking care of their issues, for customer satisfaction is essential in my part and her is my tip on;

How to deal with Irate Customer?

1. I perfectly understand where you're coming from, I myself is a customer so rest assued. I'll treat you as how I want to be tread. Okay?

2. Mr. Customer, after this conversation you have my word, this will never happen again, because this is my mission to give uou peace of mind from now on.

3. Well honestly I don't know what to say. If that would happen to me, I would feel exactly the same way if not more. But I would just like to let you know that my main goal here is for me to give you a peace of mine by putting stop on this matter permanently and I'll be more than willing to listen and help you from the bottom of my heart.

4. I personally apologize for whatever inconveniences this may have caused you, and I'm asking you just to give me 1% of your trust and let me earn the remaining 99% of it by resolving all your issues today. To tell you honestly I've been here for more than years and I would never ever give up until we bring back the trust you have invested with us.

5. I myself would like to to use capabilities and bend my access to all my tools just to solve this issue and have you relaxed throughout the day.

6. I am truly sorry to hear that...Recent experiences have been unacceptable, I know where you coming from. Let me go ahead and review what happen to provide you better solution.

7. Please allow me a few minutes of time; i believe I can help you.

Miss Earth '08 - Philippines - Karla Paula Henry

Philippines very own Karla Paula Henry, crowned as the very first Filipina to win Miss Earth, Coronation Night was held in Clark Expo Ampitheather in Pampanga, Sunday night, November 9.

There were 84 candidates for this year Miss Earth and Karla Henry, Miss Philippines bested them all. She succeeded Jessica Trisko, Miss Earth 2007 from Canada.

Candidates that was able to joined the Top 8 are, Miss Spain - Adriana Reveron, Miss Brazil - Tatiane Kelen Alves, Miss Tanzania - Miriam Odemba, Miss Philippines - Karla Paula Henry, Miss Venezuela - Ma. Daniela Torrealba, Miss Colombia - Mariana Rodriguez, Miss Mexico - Abigail Elizalde and Miss Switzerland - Nasanin Nuri.

Miss Philippines received the award for Miss Photogenic, Best in Swimwear goes to Miss Mexico and Best in Long award goes to Miss Venezuela.

Top 4 is really breathtaking, all the candidates deserves the title but there could only be one Miss Earth, Mexico, Philippines, Brazil and Tanzania make it to the top 4. Miss Mexico is my favorite from beginning and it's nice to see that your choice make it to the top, but when they were asked for the final question and heard each and everyone I know that she will not be crowned Miss Earth and the only candidate with best answer that I have heard is from Philippines, Tanzania is very confident but lost focus in some point when she delivered her answer..

The question was, If you have the chance to speak to the newly elected president of the United States of America Barack Obama about the state of global environment. What will tell him?

Karla Paula Herny answered, "Environmental knowledge is something that all of us must share, but most importantly we must teach the youth that this is something that we should instill in them so that in the near future they will be the one to take care of our Mother Earth".

Miss Tanzania this year Miss Earth Air (1st runner up), Miss Mexico, Miss Earth Water (2nd runner up) and Miss Brazil won Miss Earth Fire (3rd runner up).

Miss Earth 2008 coronation night was hosted by Miss Earth 2004 Precilla Meirelles from Brazil, Miss Earth 2006 Riza Santos from Canada and one of popular your singer today in the Philippines Billy Joe Crawford.

I believe Miss Earth Foundation focused in helping our environment, treasure Mother Earth for the next generations to come and have a better place to live in. I hope that they continue to spread the importance of our environment....

Chirstmas Decoration - Part 1

Most of my co-tenant is done with their Christmas decoration and i just started decorating my unit today..

As I remember, last year we are the first one to put Christmas decorations of all the units on this building but this year we belong to one of the last unit to decorate...

It's O.K. for I have thought of buying new sets of items for this season but family advice me to you of what have left from my last year materials and make the most out if...

They were correct because it's noticeable the rapidly increasing of what you can use and buy for this season beginning with Christmas decor...

In short, I decided to use my existing materials to decorate my place and the only thing I was able to come up with as of now is what you see on this page....

Since I haven't got any sleep yet due to my work schedule, I stop decorating for now and will continue later once I woke up....:)

After a week of Work....Now Rest Day!!!

Like what I have stated from my previous post that I am finally back with Welcome for Vonage. Since it's my first week being with welcome again, I am thankful that I have not experience the same pressure like what I have when we started ELQ (Early Life Queue).

At first, I thought that being with welcome again will be difficult because I need to unlearned some of the things that I do with ELQ, but basically I don't have to unlearn it, I can use it in giving customer information of what to do or what will be the right approach to a certain issues specially if customer is disputing some charges, our department is not capable in giving out credits but I can tell you if you will be iligible for it or not....

Like what I did today, a certain customer that I called expecting a call from account management because of some issues when she sign up and what she want to do as well and instruct customer that in order for her to transfer her telephone number with Vonage she need to be sure that she have a stand alone internet service from her current ISP since her telephone line and her DSL service is associated and have her confirmation number ready once she have it...

Another thing is that since she is not certain when she will be able to start using her internet service again because she her ISP just sent her a new modem which she don't know how will it work, instructed the customer to call her ISP and seek for assistance. Some ISP need to make some configuration from thier end or need to ahve the modem activated from their end....Once she have internet service again and she need assistance installing the phone adapter that was given to her and basically asked her to call Vonage technical support team for help...

Bottom line she was not able to use the service since the day she sign up and the promotion that she have is being used up, like what I have said I am not capable of giving out credit but I will direct you to someone who can and give you informations of what is needed first....

Customer was so please and I am thankful that I was able to help her or guide her of what is need to be done....

A Bus Experience!!!

I and my friend Leslie is heading for home from work this morning and had a unexpected experience while we travel....

Like we always do, everyday we wait for a nice bus to ride, since the fare is the same and we have agreed to wait for the best one, there is this one bus company that we know and happen to be a good bus but their drivers really drove faster compare to other buses...

At first we felt so lucky that we are able to ride this bus today and we end up regretting but eventually we accept the fact....

There is a roll back for bus fares declared by Philippine Government and didl take effect last Monday, Normally we pay P15 from work to home and vice versa per ride, but today instead of paying like P14 due to roll back we ended up paying P16 and when I'm about to complain to the bus conductor about the rate, suddenly the bus hit another bus bumper due to driver negligence, but in good faith we are all fine and no passenger was hurt, but the exciting part is that the bus door was stuck and it took them like 10 minutes before they successfully and forcefully open the door....

I and Leslie just said, how fast Karma is, my point is that I am willing to pay more if it is the right amount for the said fare or things but to overcharge people is a different thing, and if you are in need you can simply ask but never fool people because that is not acceptable especially in my part...

2nd Day of being with Welcome again!!!

When I started working for Vonage, I was hired for Welcome department which deals with newly signed up customer and assist them in installing their telephone adapter, guide them through their online account or to any issues that they have at the moment....

We call them once they receive the telephone adapter, this department deals with outbound calls, unlike when I was in Early Life Queue (ELQ) we assist customer who calls Vonage within their first 90days of having Vonage....

Now that I am back with Welcome, at first it was kinda strange and even my very first call I have mention the opening spiel that I use for ELQ, and the person I am calling say HA!!!...

I did apologize and I was able to help her install the Vonage device...basically the nature if the job is very similar with ELQ aside from Welcome is outbound and ELQ is inbound there is a thin line of difference pertaining to the rights of the representative, meaning there are some things that you are not allowed to do for customers and you need to transfer them to the right department while in ELQ you need to resolve all the customers issues from your end and the only way for you to transfer the customer to a different department if you are not capable of helping the customer, like if the issues is need to be done by higher technical support wherein agents are not trained but this is very seldom happened....

Today was my 2nd day being with Welcome again and I proud to say that everything went smoothly and I am very thankful that I still know what is the job description for Welcome and the restrictions....if in any case I encountered customers issues that i am not allowed to disclosed or resolve from my end I see to it that I assist the customer until they spoke to the right department and transfer the customer accordingly....

I am happy to be part of ELQ and I know that I will be able to help customers wherever I am, for my goal is to do my job and help the company that i work with and gain more satisfied customers....

Call Center - Halloween Costume!!!

Every year at the call center I work with, people dress themselves for Halloween, some do it for fun, some do it as a treat for themselves to wear want they want on this particular day and some do it for the contest...

Photos shown on this page are taken from our Makati, Philippines site. I believe these are the participants for the said Halloween Costume contest held last October 31st.... Just don't have an idea who won...and I must say they all look different and they really put a lot of effort on this....

Common Colds....!!!

Since Saturday when I got home from work, I know that I gonna be sick for my voice is different and my throat is kinda itchy and I keep on sneezing.....

I simply ignored it since it's Halloween and I have so many things to do, first I need to visit my mom, my sister and my beloved nephew Nathan the next day...

I have instructed my sister that she need to keep Nathan away from me for I am not feeling well, I hate it because aside from the fact that I am sick and I am allowing myself to play with Nathan, bottom line is I did not enjoy the Holiday and my weekend....

I decided to go home after lunch, I don't want to spread virus specially amongst my family for medical treatment is so expensive especially if you have a baby at home, you need to be a little careful....

I end up staying at home all day after I have visited them, stay in bed, intake a lot of fluids, take vitamins, medicines and hoping that I will feel much better for I have worked tomorrow....

Philippine Halloween!!!

Halloween is celebrated worldwide...here in the Philippine we celebrate it in a different way...

First since I am working in a call center environment...every year we decorate our stations and that is per team...you need to come up a design which need to meet a certain requirement for the said event...

Judges will roam around on the said time and day and choose the best team who have the most unique and most creative design and will win a certain prize....Our team we participate but we really don't put too much effort on it, we just want to part of the celebration....

Personnel also dress up for the said event and they will also pick 3 winners for the best in Halloween Costume...

That is how we celebrate Halloween in a call center...but what about how people in this country celebrate Halloween...



Every year it's been a tradition that we stay up all night to be with our love ones who parted this world and we stay with them in the cemetery, it's like a family reunion there, people play music, sometimes relatives only have this time of the year to see each other and they have fun all night...

I still remember, every year my family see to it that we go to Bacolod to pay respect to my grandparents even after they die and that is every All Saints Day, we leave Manila for Bacolod every year but since my mother now is kinda old and my job requires me to stay in Manila, so for the fast 5 years we have not given a chance to go back there...

Instead what we we do is place candles in our doorstep every year and this is one way of paying respect for them and at the same time we offer prayers...
