Finally Level 80!!!

Our baby Cjhay is really into this online game Tales of Pirates and when reaches level 80 the other day he was so happy...

Since I only play this online game once in awhile now, I am happy for him that he was able to reached his goal in the game, according to him, this is just a part of what he wants on the game and he will continue playing it for he really enjoy it a lot...

What can I say, as much as I want to play it more, I cannot for it requires a lot of time and some effort and I cant afford that.

I am happy that he enjoys Tales of Pirate because I was the one who introduced him to this game....


Another thing that he told me is that he was able to go to heaven in the game, On the game there is place they call heaven where in the goddess will allow players to exchange for some good stuffs like armor, but they must have goddess favor ticket to acquire it, he was so excited when he finally get his armor because his been working for months to obtained it.

Moving to a Different Campaign Again!!!

Earlier today before our third break our GM (Group Manager) for Welcome Team of Vonage gathered us (three teams) for a meeting that all of us including our TL (Team Leader) will be transfer to a different LOB (Line of Business) for the same account.

They been having numerous meeting all day and come up to a decision before they called us and what will be the best way to resolve the issue that they are having, they are very open with the said situation that the project is currently having and it will require moving people to a different campaign temporarily.

This time they choose people by team and not by individual performance, we understood the situation that the required number of head counts allotted by the client is not sufficient to accommodate all of us so they arrived with this solution.

The question now is where are we moving? What LOB (Line of Business)? To our surprise we will be moved to Inbound Sales Department, most of us don't have a sales background, what we are comfortable doing is either technical support or customer service. Since this will only be on a temporary basis, we all agreed to do it. Our two days training will start tonight 12 midnight, manila time.

One good thing about this is that we will still be under with the same GM (Group Manager) and TL's (Team Leaders) because we will not cooperate if in any case we will be assigned to different GM or TL's, for there will no turning back if that is the case.

Good point also is that we still have a job and we can still go back to Welcome Team as soon as everything is ok, like what have I experienced with ELQ (Early Life Queue).

We enjoyed doing welcome team job and hoping that will also do the same with inbound sales....

Underworld - Rise of the Lycans!!!

I have watched Underworld - Rise of the Lycans last weekend by Screen Gems. I like the movie and if you have watched the first two parts of Underworld movies, in this film you will understand how it all did began. Where Lycan (werewolves) originated, how vampire treat them and what is the reason why they want freedom.

Underworld series is basically the war between Lycans (werewolves) and vampire, I have seen all three parts and I like it. Slavery is not good and if you mistreat someone, there will come a time that they will seek for justice and revenge.

We watched in one of the movie houses nearby (SM Valenzuela) and I am so pleased that they gave me a souvenir of the film by giving out a legal size photo of Underworld - Rise of the Lycans poster.

After watching the film, I looked for the copy of Underworld and Underworld Evolution on my file of dvd's and watched it again, I enjoyed it more because I already have a clear understanding how it all began. The action is great, the cinematography is cool, and I like how the story goes.

Kung Hei Fat Choi - Year of the Ox (Chinese New Year)

January 26, is the New Year for Chinese and this year its year of the OX. Chinese New Year is also known as Spring Festival and this is one of the most important holidays for Chinese people but even non-Chinese also join their celebration. Like me for example, I have several Filipino-Chinese friends and before Chinese New Year, I joined them having our hair cut, I asked one of my friend about this and he told me that it's their family tradition to have their hair cut before new year and the reason is to have a prosperous new year, success, and I said that there's nothing wrong with that since we also get our hair cut, might as well join them for I have nothing to lose, so I been doing this for the fast 15 years.

I was thankful that even there are problems that comes in my way, I was able to resolve and face it and help me to become stronger and a good person. Some people take mistake in a negative way, me I put it in a positive aspect and hope to never to commit the same mistake and learned from it.

Chinese uses Lunar Calendar which based on the cycles of the moon and with this the beginning of the year falls between late of January up to middle of February, this year for 2009 its January 26.

This year is the year of the OX and people born under year are kind, logical, has a positive aspect in life, caring soul, filled with common sense and humble. The affectionate ox is steady, reliable partners and a good provider. Dinagyang Festival - Iloilo!

If Cebu have Sinulog Festival, Iloilo has Dinagyang festival every fourth Saturday of January, Cebuanos and Ilongos do this every year to honor Santo Nino ( Holy Child) and this is their devotion I believe since 1960's.

The festivities includes street dancing wearing different costumes while dancing on the street, they also have this Miss Dinagyang, a pageant during the festivity.

I have expereinced this festival before, since my mother is originally from Iloilo and I have spent some of my teenage days in Ilo-ilo, there is so many people participating to this event, I remember that there is also bands playing the whole time til 3 or 4 in the morning.

With this kind of festivities Philippines become popular and it attract more tourist, it is really fun to be a part of this festival. It's once in a lifetime experience, I been looking from my old picture during this festival but for no reason I can't find it. Philippine celebrities also join this festivities like Sunshine Dizon and more.

I haven't been able to got back to Iloilo for nearly 10years and I am looking to go back there one of this days, like the last time I spend most of my days on the beach and I miss that...

Wish of Coming Home!!!

I was talking to my special someone who's miles away yesterday. The desire of coming home is something that we have discussed. My beloved left last July 24, 2008 for Qatar, it was nearly six months now.

Deep in my heart, I want my special someone to come home but we both realized that as much as we missed each other, we need to sacrifice a little more time for our future. We still have a lot of time to be together, we need to set our priorities and this is the part of it that we understood.

Being away from one another for six months seems to be forever, I hate counting days because, it hurts more. We know these sacrifices that we are facing will be benificial for us, our family and we need to be more focussed on what we, be more patient and as long as we strongly love and trust one another, no can break us apart.

Like the song "Born for You" by David Pomeranz, there are so many people in world, we've met and from that day on we know that we're meant to be together.

I am being so emotional now so I need to stop from here. To my special someone who's miles away, take care of yourself and I'm longing to be with you soon.

Breaking Dawn - Stephenie Meyer (Twilight Series book 4)!!!

Finally I have finished reading Breaking Dawn, 4th book of Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. The book is divided in three parts, the first book covers Edward and Bella's matrimony, they have this wonderful honeymoon on Esme's island and this is where Bella got pregnant to her half breed daughter Renesmee. Imagine how did Edward controlled himself and make love with Bella for she wants it so much.

In the second book, it was Jacob's turn to tell his story about Bella's pregnancy and childbirth. This is where Jacob shows his love for Bella. When the pack of werewolves learned about Bella's pregnancy and they don't know what might happen for there could be a grave danger once the child is born, what they want is to kill the unborn child even it will cost Bella's life. Jacob strongly disagrees to this and leaves the pack, Seth (fight with Edward to protect Bella from newborn vampires in Book 3) and Leah Clearwater (Sam girlfriend before he found his imprint) joined him, the pack was divided and helps protect Bella. Rosalie is so protective with Bella during her pregnancy for she is the one that Bella called to help her when she learned that she is pregnant because Edward and Carlisle want to get rid of it for it will danger her life. After she gave birth she was turn into a vampire before her heart stops beating because her body cannot take all the injuries that she had during this pregnancy. It's also funny because as soon as Jacob sees the baby he imprints it right away and he found his soulmate with Renesmee.

The third part of the book is back to Bella's story, this time a newborn vampire, Edward tech her how to hunt and Cullens family can't believe how did she mange to control her thirst for human blood. Irina told the Volturi family in Italy when she saw Renesmee for it is forbidden for vampire to create a vampire child, once Alice knew to her vision that Irina told Volturi about Renesmee, the Cullens family gathered witnesses that this child is not bitten by any of them but she is half vampire and half human. Daughter of Bella and Edward, Renesmee growth is fast that any ordinary human. This is also the part when Bella knew her special ability, a shield, Bella have her co-vampire and Edward trained her on how to use her talent effectively for a very little of time and she fully learn her capabilities on the day they faced the Volturi clan. There was a long discussion between the Volturi and the Cullens family, they have agreed that Renesmee is in fact a child of Bella and Edward but they are not still convince that she is no threat to their world until Alice and Jasper came from a long trip with Nahuel and he is 150 year old vampire-human, who happen to be his mother died giving birth to him. Volturi leave in peace when they learned this.

I like the story even if there are no full action, every detailed is covered and I have learned to love the character more, their compassion, struggle and everything about their love for their family and desire. I am looking forward for the fifth book and I wish that Stephenie Meyer will be able to finish it soon. I also read the draft on her website but I want the book and I know that there will be more once I read the Midnight Sun. I know that Midnight Sun will be more on Edwards prospective. I want to know the side of his story too..... Most of all I am looking forward for the Movie New Moon.

Bedtime Stories - Movie!!!

If you are looking for a great film for kids, Bedtime Stories - movie is a great one. Released by Walt Disney, it's a good movie and children will also learn good lesson from the movie "You are the one creating your own destiny, and no matter where you came from if you have the will to follow your dream, there will always be an opportunity for you to fulfill it.

Bedtime story is a sorry of man who work in a 5 star Hotel as a maintenance (Adam Sandler) and he work there for 25 years hoping that the promise given to his father before by the one who bought their hotel and change it to a pricey one that he will be always a part of its growth but it seems that his dreams won’t be possible. All the customers of the hotel adore him for his kind attitude.

One day his sister decided to leave the town for a job interview and leave her 2 kids with him while she was gone named Bobbi(Laura Ann Kesling) and Patrick (Jonathan Morgan), this is when it's all started, on the very same night Bobbi and Patrick needed to hear a bedtime story before going to sleep and Skeeter (Adam Sandler) don't want to read them bedtime story books and instead made one by himself and while the story goes the two kids interjected some scenes to the story. The following day Skeeter was so surprise that what have been his story came true and all the while he thought that it was his thinking throughout the story is the one happening in real life after, but it was the scenes interjected by the two kids.

By these, he was able to get a shot to prove himself worthy for the position of hotel manager to where he works. He and the other guy need to present something to prove who is worthy of the said position when the owners birthday comes. The story interjected by the two kid to this did come true but it was his love for the hotel make him win, but the sad part is that he don't have any idea that the school where his sister work and his nephew go to school is the place will be used for the expansion of the hotel.

He did what he could to stop this and gave the owner of the hotel a better place which he originally wants and win the heart of a very special lady. Dreaming is good but you must work for it, if you want to achieve it.

I like the movie and I will keep a copy of it for my nephew Nathan and have him watched it one day....

U.S. President Barack Obama - Inauguration

U.S. President elect Barack Obama inauguration day, Tuesday, January 20, 2009. He is the 44th and the 1st African-American president of the U.S.. I prayed that his presidency will be more successful from the previous presidents.

He is the hope for progress amongst Americans, I wish all the best of luck for him.

Barack Obama is making a new history, may he serve a good example not only to Americans but to each and everyone of us. I hope that he will be able to make good decision for the sake of people.

Sinulog Festival 2009!!!

Today January 18, the Cebuanos celebrates their annual festival, known as Sinulog festival. The festival honors the little child Jesus (Santo Nino). The Holy child (Santo Nino) is the patron of Cebu.

People dance on the street, a ritual that they do every festival. They do this every year and the participants wear costumes with bright color while dancing with the sound of drums and trumpets with their native song. The parade is fabulous and the activities that they have is so amazing they Sinulog Nightly activity and Cultural shows, Bazaar, Miss Cebu and a lot more.

A lot of people go to Cebu during this time of year to witness their festival, this has been known worldwide and this festival has been promoted as a tourist attraction.

I have never witness their festival, I only see it on the news and the learned most of the happening from my friends in Cebu. I wish that one of these days I will be given a chance to back to Cebu and witness their festival.

Children Die due to Melamine!!!

Almost a month ago it was reported that 6 children died after drinking milk laced industrial chemical melamine in China. Melamine are normally use to make plastic and with no reason at all this dairy product company simply incorporate this substance with milk that cause and health problems to children.

China's dairy association and the 22 dairy companies involve came up with an standardized scheme of payment to those families affected, parent who happen to have death in the family due to melamine will receive $29,000.00, those who have have serious cases of kidney stone will get $4,380.00 and for those less severe cases will received $290.00.

There is one family accepted this due to poverty, but most parents refuse it because it doesn't cover enough children and the payment is too low, they simply want this to be ended and most of them dont care about the exact amount.

Basically this scandal is a national disgrace for China, the government announce a major revamping in the quality control in its dairy product.

This company need to be very careful the their product, they need to study and test their products accordingly and must not wait before someone gets affected before actions are made. Think about the consumers, for what had happen do they think people will patronize their products. What is the effect? People suffered, death, disease, especially the children.

I cannot think of the exact words how to express what I am feeling right now due to this incident, my sympathy is with those family who have lost their love ones, my condolences, and hoping that those children who is suffering from kidney stone and other diseases due to this melamine will get better soon for they don't deserve this.

Something New (Phone and DVD player)!!!

Last weekend I and Cjhay decided to buy telephone (home phone) and we want to get a cordless phone, just one handset will do since we live in a small apartment. We decided go get a standard phone instead since we saw this cute portable DVD player which is very convenient.

You can take it anywhere, especially when you travel, since summer here in the Philippines is near and we are planning to go back to Puerto Galera in Mindoro this Holy Week or we consider going to Baguio this summer.

I am looking forward this summer, we do this every year, get away from the city even for a short period of time to relax.

Type of Customers!!!

Since I am in a call center industry and I was in sales department before I was transferred to Technical Support, these are the type of customer that we deal every day. I am a customer myself and I am a type of customer who deals with facts, I need to see it first, I don’t simply buy because my friend has it. I buy things/stuff because I need it and it will benefit me so I must say that I am technical type of customer. Given the information below can you guess what type of customer are you?

Type of Customers

Decisive Customer

this is a type of customer that know what they want, very precise to what he/she need and cannot be easily persuaded, a customer that will not tolerate another opinion because he/she is so positive about the products or services that this customer wants.

Technical Customer

this customer based his/her decision on facts. There must be a detailed explanation of the product/services that being offered. If this customer feels any inaccuracies about the products/services then there is no way for him/her to get it by any chance.

Argumentative Customer

this is a type of customer that asked too many questions about the products/services before he/she decide to get it or not. He/she want all her questions to be answered first for they are so cautious and won’t decide right away even if they a need for it.

Procrastinating Customer

this is a type of customer who like to delay his/her decision for another day or another time, not because he/she don’t need but lack of confidence , lack of judgment toward a certain product/services and needs help to decide for what he/she needs, always asked opinion toward something and ready to listen and usually friendly.

Shopping Customer

this a kind of customer that weigh thing first, they look around first before they decide on which one to have, sometimes they only get the idea of a certain products /services and might reconsider to have it later and see who has the best offer.

Eclipse - Stephenie Meyer (Twilight Book 3)!!!

I just finished reading the third episode of Twilight by Stephenie Meyer entitled Eclipse. I love this book compared to Twilight and New Moon.

The story is about the love triangle between Edward (vampire), Bella (human) and Jacob (werewolf), Bella loved Jacob, his best friend and he also protects her but in the end Bella decided to marry Edward because she loves him more and she knows that Jacob will find the right girl for his (imprint).

It's also good to know from the book that the treaty between the Cullen's (vampire family) and Quilettes (werewolf clan) was off and they became allies protecting their land because Victoria (James love partner that killed by Cullen's in book one to protect Bella) avenged James death and she created her own army of newborn vampire to attacked Cullen's and killed Bella.

I have mixed emotions with book there are part that I hated Jacob and Bella for Edward. His sacrifices, his love for Bella and all he thinks is what good for her and Bella is so stubborn when it comes for Jacob.

Congratulation to Stephenie Meyer for this Twilight series and I already have a copy for Breaking Dawn and already started reading it hoping that Midnight Sun will be in the market soon, I can't wait to grab a copy of that.

Before I started blogging I am into playing Tales of Pirates, it's a free online international games, I love playing this games but since I am more into blogging now and other computer stuff, I seldom play this game, but my baby Cjhay continue to play this game, since I was the one who introduce this to him.

I am so happy that he still enjoy this, and every time he encounter different issues with the games while leveling up I'm still eager to know what it is...

What my Baby Needs!

Nathan (our baby) is getting more interested in so many things like toys and everything inside the house makes him wonder. Since he is trying to learn so many things, we want to give him some educational toys which are very essential for him to learn more quickly and understand things and what he might see in the real world.

My sister is planning to move to a new apartment next month which is closer from where she works, we have agreed to have space for Nathan where he can explore his toys and stuff for kids. I was so excited to this idea and look of good furniture, rugs and other stuff for a little nursery room for him.

I am so happy to come across with ShopWiki for they have a wide variety for what I need. I have notice that it is very economical. Twilight - New Moon - Stephenie Meyer!

I was not able to update or write anything yesterday for I was so eager to finish the second book of Twilight entitled New Moon by Stephenie Meyer.

New Moon is a good book but compare to the 1st book, Twilight is much better. There are some part of the book that I find boring, from the time Edward left Bella for the reason that Victoria will hunt him for what they did to her love partner James in the first book. The part when Bella left by Edward untill Alice came in to stop Edward from having himself killed.

Bella and Jacob part is the one that I find boring, if the pacing is a bit faster then I might be able to enjoy it more for i really like the first book. Despite of what I read from the book I am still looking forward to see it in the movie and hoping that the movie will be much better.

I will start reading the thrid book entitled Eclipse today and hoping that I will enjoy it more, according to reviews that I have read the third book is much better compare to the 1st 2 books but of course you must the the first two in order for you to understand the story of Edward and Bella ( a vampire who fell in love to human and vice versa).

Customer Service Expectation!!!

Since I work in a call center environment, I am pretty sure that the following is what customer expects from the service they are getting and I am a customer as well and this is also my expectations....

Customer Service Expectations

1. Reliability - the ability to provide what is promise, dependable and accurate.
Reliability is a feeling that the customer gains every time they ask us to do something and the if the company was able to complete the request within the time promise and with exceptional results.

2. Responsiveness - the willingness to help customers promptly. The turn around time or response time.
Responsiveness is how quickly the representative react to the customers needs.

3. Assurance - the knowledge displayed to customers and the ability to convey trust, competence and confidence.
Assurance is the feeling we slowly gain from our customers and that can be quickly lose over promising and under delivering . Customer will stay patronizing one product/service if they are treated properly.

4. Empathy - the degree of caring and individual attention you show to customers. The warm feeling customers get when doing business with an organization.
Empathy is the strongest tool we utilize while dealing with customer complaint or request. Customer need to be listened to and you must act as if it is also happen to you.

5. Tangibles - the actual service/products the customer receives. The customers want to feel or get the best for what they money worth.
It's hard to patronize a product knowing that you are not getting what was promise and the use of it is not essential for you.

Twilight - the Novel by Stephenie Meyer!

I just finished reading the book Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, I've been looking forward to read her book since the day I have watched the Twilight movie and I must say that how the story goes with the movie and the book is much the same.

There are some scenes in the movie that is different in the book like how did Chief Charlie Swan present his surprise welcome gift to Bella, the truck (car), in the book it was mention while they where traveling to Forks, when how did she met Billy ( Charlie's best friend) and Jacob (her childhood friend) and the Spring Dance is omitted. it's understandable that in the movie they will be removing some scene from the book but overall the movie storyline is similar to how it flow til the end in the book.

I love it and can't wait for the next movie, hoping that they will do movie for NEW MOON too, I am reading new moon now, the second book. Here you just can't simply grab a copy, you must order and wait, that's how popular Stephenie Meyer books here.

Celebrity News - John Travolta's son!!!

As I read the news paper today, I learned that John Travolta's teenage son, Jett, 16yrs. old, died in Bahamas after apparently suffering from seizure and hitting his head at their family's vacation house.

Their house care taker found him, unconscious in a bathroom late Friday morning, he was taken to Freeport hospital, where he was pronounced dead as the police authorities mentioned on their statement.

The teenager had a history of seizure, Jett apparently hit the bathtub as said on the report. My condolence to Travolta's family.

My Family!!!

After 5 years I and my family (my mom and my sister Jenny) got the chance to spend Christmas together, this time we have the newest member (my nephew Nathan), imagine family this small was not able to celebrate Christmas together. Technically when we say celebrate, it means that we need to be together from December 24th before midnight til morning and that the thing we haven't done for quite sometimes.
