Princess of Marulas - Mara Saamong - Reyna Elena!!!

Marulas is one of the barangay in Valenzuela in the Philippines and every year churches here organized a "Sagala" a procession of Ladies wearing a gown walking on the street from church to the areas sorrounding the vicinity. Normally it took at an hour and a half walk.

A lot of people participate for this, we are so happy that Mara Saamong, our Princess of Marulas has been chosen to part of this and become one of the Reyna Elena.

The Sagala was organized Bitik Chapel in Agapita st, Tamaraw hills, Valenzuela City,Philippines. We want to thank the chapel for doing this and congratulations to the success of this event/sagala.

We are proud of you Mara. You are still the same girl that I met when we started doing the Queen of Marulas 2008. Keep up the good work and study hard.

We have received a package from Nathan's godfather Ernie whom presently overseas. He is wearing the t-shirt for Nathan that is included on the package.

Our Sick Baby (Nathan)!!!

I almost forgot this that my sister have taken a photo of me with Nathan last March 30 of this year. It's my sister birthday and I came to visit them for dinner but while playing with Nathan I ave noticed that he has a fever and asked my sister to get the thermometer and check his temperature and we found out that its nearly to 40 degree Celsius.

I know that it was my sister birthday and we all end up celebrating it on the hospital and thank God and the following day everything went back to normal and as if nothing happen.

Pussycat Dolls Live in Manila 2009!!!

Finally Pussycat Dolls concert is set on June 11, 2009. It will be held on SM Mall of Asia concert ground. the concert is entitled "A Clear Doll Domination: the Pussycat Dolls Live in Manila".

This is the second time the 2nd time they will perform in Manila, they were here back in 2006 and held there concert in Araneta Collesium in Quezon City.

Don't Cha, Buttons, Stickwitu, I Don't Need a Man, Wait a Minute, Beep, these are some of their songs that really hit the chart around globe and became really popular. The Doll Domination Album comes with great music such as I Hate This Part, When I Grow Up, Watcha Think About That, Jai Ho (You are My Destiny - english version).

We did enjoy the concert back in 2006 and we are looking for a wonderful experience again for the second time.

New Moon Movie (twilight saga) - finally has a play date!!!

After the Twilight Movie and after reading all the 4 book of Stephenie Meyer Twilight series and have heard the news that they are also take inconsideration of filming the second book which is NEW MOON, where Jacob true being will reveal and the love triangle between a human, a vampire and a wolf.

When I check for the updates about this, I am so happy to have learned that finally they a play date and that would be this coming November 20, 2009.

I have captured the posters from new moon movie website. I am fan and so excited about this film and I was hoping that we'll be having the same play date here in the Philippines.

Memorial Day - Holiday!!!

Memorial day is first know to be Decoration day, it's one of the U.S federal holiday, they celebrate it every last Monday of May each year since 1911.

They have this holiday to commemorates men and women who died while in the U.S. military service. People observe this holiday by means of visiting cemeteries and memorials and place American flag on the graveside. Some people take this opportunity to go out of town, have barbecues or family gathering.

Great Items for our babies!!!

Nathan's birthday is on July and as early as now I'm already looking for best gift for him, my only nephew and only baby in the family, I simply want to give him something useful for his age, he will be turning 2 this year and speaking of 2 years old baby boy, you would never imagine how energetic they are and want to explore almost everything.

Nathan at his age wish to learn all the things around him, I am thinking of getting a new jellycat for him this year, since he love embracing it every time he went to be, he cannot go to sleep without it. I still remember when he slept in my room six months ago, he hug my jellycat as soon as he came in and slept beside me while embracing it and from that day on he always look for it before going to bed and without it he can't sleep.

My sister is looking for a good designer baby clothes for him too, since he will be turning 2, we want him to wear something special, I have seen this great designer baby clothes at Lou Lou's corner website, it was neat and good for him too, I even ask my sister to look at it and she is so excited for this great news.

Barefoot dreams items for our special someone, need not to be expensive, we just need it to special and very useful and best of all we satisfied our needs and we were able to give the best we can for our love ones.

I can't wait for Nathan's big day this coming July, I have a surprise for him and hoping that he will still remember it when he grow up, We just need to capture that special moment for our beloved baby.

Globe One Youth - Project Headshot - VXI Welcome Division!!!

Globe telecommunication launch this one youth headshot clinic, they took pictures of an individual wish to be part of this campaign, they will ask you if you wish to be a part of this and be their model. Last March they come to our office in Quezon City, Philippines and take pictures of whom is interested participants.

Season 8 American Idol Winner - Kris Allen

I have watched the grand finale of American Idol season 8 as well as the performance of Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. Watching their performance, you will never know who will win, Adam Lambert first song was not that great and he did good on his other 2 songs, Kris Allen, when he sung his last song which Kara c0-write, was not that good, but when he sung it again on the finale, I am so impress and it was really good.

Congratulation of Kris Allen being the American Idol winner for this season, he really deserves it. I watched every episodes of American Idol these year, frankly at first I did not expect Kris Allen will make it to top 2, but as I watched it every week, I have come to realized how good he is, I believe I started to like him after top 8.

I like these year finale compare to last year, it's good to see Fergie, black eye piece, Lionel Ritchie, Rod Stewart, Queen Latifa, Cindy Lauper and a lot more. I love all these singer and I enjoyed listening tho their music.

I also can't believe how Kara reacted with the swimwear contestant and it is really one of a kind.

American Idol is still one of the best show.....Can't wait for Season 9

Katrina Halili and Hayden Kho - scandal!!!

Katrina Halili a model/actress and Hayden Kho a popular cosmetic surgeon who also wish to be an actor in the Philippines. Late last year this two celebrity admitted that they had an affair while Hayden Kho is still have a relationship to a well known cosmetic surgeon Vicky Bello.

Their relationship is the reason why Vicky and Hayden broke up. That issue is no longer a question. What really shocking right now is that the video scandal who have been posted in the net came out last week and according to Hayden Kho from his last interview back in December that there is no video and their relationship is not serious and it was just for fun.

I really felt sorry for Katrina for what had happen, the person involve in this video really need pay for what they have done, this a crime and they need to face the consequences, Hayden Kho mention that there is no video and yet there is and according to one of Katrina's interview that she received a text message that the video is already on the net. I forgot whom she mentioned who texted her and it has something to with Hayden.

If this scandal video is really Hayden Kho doing, is he happy now, what could be his motive, he and Katrina is not the only video out in the net, there are other videos that he's in with different women on the net. Do this women knew that they are being videotaped while doing it. Katrina mention that she has no knowledge or whatsoever about this videos.

Hayden Kho took this video and according tho the people who have seen this videos, all videos were taken on the same room with different women at a time. He is a man and what is he thinking? Will he be happy if one day his child got involve to this kind of situation?

Katrina already came to senate office to seek help and went to NBI (National Bureau of Investigation) to file a complaint about this, they also suggested that Hayden Kho need to undergo psychological test.

Katrina did the right decision to seek assistance from the government about this, the issue will die down and people will forget in due times but the pain and sufferings that she have experienced from this will always be there, she and her family will never forget it, her family might talk about it anymore but it will leave a mark. Is that what he wants to tell the world to know who he been in bed with and show how they do it.

Whatever a couple do inside the room is there business and it suppose to remain that way. Show respect to what you have shared at that time.

My sympathy is with Katrina, may she get the justice for what she is fighting from this unjust doing...

Angels and Demons - what a great movie!!!

Angels and Demons movie is based from the book with the same title written by Dan Brown, I already have a copy of the book and I have not read it yet, I am engaged with my other curricular activities and don't have time yet because I want to read it when I have nothing to worry.

I have watch the movie, another blockbuster movie of Tom Hanks, I love it from the start til the end. I came inside the movie wondering if this movie worth watching and and I leave the movie house not just contented but very pleased about the story and the cinematography is really great.

Ayelet Zurer, did I great job being Vittoria Vetra, she is the scientist who knows what they have invented can do, Tom Hanks was called when this invention was stolen and work for the church to resolve the issue.

Most people say that this film is Anti-Catholic, I disagree with that, this film also make me understand more about my religion which Catholic. The film did not even mention anything bad about Catholics, It was stated in the movie that the church is with war with Illuminati which happen to be a wrong doing of one who is part of the church.

It is not the church wrong doing but the person who wants to destroy it, it just so happen that the person involve in the movie came from within.

Tom Hanks in the movie portrayed the of Robert Langdon, who study illuminati and did everythng he can ro the best of his understanding to resolve the issue and capture the one involve, he even help the vatican to solve this for the betterment of the church, so there is no anti-catholics in the film.

Watch it you wll surely enjoy it, specially the twist in the end, I will read the book to have it compare from the movie, I only hope that I will enjoy the book as well.

Binibining Marulas '09 - what an incomplete success!!!

I have watched Binibining Marulas 2009 last night, this is one local pageant from our community, and young women age from 15 to 21 years old are welcome to participate to this activity to develop their personality.

Congratulation for the ladies who have participated for this event, you hardship and effort is really great.

Why I said it was an incomplete success, as one of the audience I see some errors that you can't simply ignore, I spoke to lady who won the Binibining Marulas 2007 Camille Li Litiatco, who was encourage by the organizers to be one of hostess for the this even, at first she is very hesitant to do this and she is more comfortable to be one of the judge since she already done her part as one beauty queen of the said barangay, people from the organizers mentioned that she need to be one of the MC and it’s not yet her turn to be seated as one of the judge.

She accepted the offer, being a responsible person she divide her time to the best she can, she came to rehearsal and leave her 5 months child with her husband care while she is need to the said event. Five minutes before they start the event people from the organizers talked to her and told her to sit in the panel of judges table and be one of them, she was shocked and suddenly walk out from site, after the 1st segment she came back and as if nothing happen she seated as one of the judge, but she told me that she is really angry for what they have done to her and its really unacceptable that after time and effort that gave, suddenly it will turn into nothing.

Leslie Sacro, who originally was not part of MC for that night and was inform to co-hostess them prior to the event took over and this should not happen, two of them can still go on with the job assigned to them, it’s a matter of coordination, between the two of them on how they will divide that said task. Due to lack of rehearsal Miss Sacro keep buckling every time she delivered her word and keep repeating herself and take note she is reading it from the script, if she is not comfortable delivering the script, she should at least came up with something more creative and it ended that is not fit for the job (sorry I am only giving my opinion to what I have seen since I have watched the entire pageant).

Now as per judges concern, I believe they invited 10 judges and 5 only came, it was not Camille's fault that their invited judges were not able to make it. As long as they have judges to rate the candidate per segment the can still proceed and not change the task given to people who did a lot of effort to make themselves prepared and dedication for the said job.

After the talent portion one of the organizers pulled her own from the judges table and talk to her, she burst into anger and cried because she cannot accept what they have done and she even told them that the even leave for work just to fulfill her duty, and she spent money for this, now what she wanted them to pay her expenses for rented 3 gowns for the night hired a makeup artist who she shoulders all these expenses to show them her dedication and gratitude for she was crown Binibining Marulas 2007. Her last words for them and never bothered me again.

I am really sorry for my words if I have said something harsh, I am only stating facts and I felt sorry for Camille, I myself cannot accept this kind of humiliation. This is not right and to the organizers find way to make it up to her, my suggestion is that think not just once before you decide into something ho matter how urgent it is.

This is just the first part of my observation, I will be posting more, just need to gather some resources....Thanks you for reading and your comment will be greatly appreciated....

The two David already show guest appearance like David Archuleta in Sis (GMA morning Show hosted by Gelli, Carmina and Janice) and both of show already guested in Eat Bulaga (the longest running noontime show in the Philippines), and are also at Manny Pacquiao victory party.

A lot of fan are really excited for tonights concert at Mall of Asia (MOA) concert ground, Pasay City, Philippines. The day that everyones been waiting for!

Possible Playground for Nathan!!!

Early this year my sister moved to a new apartment, it's a compound wherein Nathan would not be the only kid. Since he is more into outdoor activities now and he even push her grandma to go out every afternoon to play with their neighbor kids.

I told my sister that we can put a small playground for him in front of the apartment and she asks me where to look for good playground equipment. Congratulation to Sandra Seifert of Negros Occidental for winning this year Miss Earth Philippines, she will be competing for Miss Earth '09. She joined the Binibining Pilipinas '09 and got disqualified due to her sexy post with FHM. She is really a beauty, what she have done doesn't mean anything because she do it with her own reason and we cannot judge her ithout knowingher as a person, if Binibining Pilipinas rules includes that they will disqualified candidates that have sexy photos in any magazine, well that is their rules luckily Miss Earth don't have kind of rules and now it her turn to prove them that she really worth for the crown.

Dood thing also about her with her last interview that she is happy of what had happen and she is not mad or anything with Binibining Pilipinas Foundation. It's their rules and there are no exemption to it.

I am planning in moving to a new apartment by the end of this month and I already visited the new place and I like it and to save some money with the interior I and my family decided that we do it ourselves.

We only have one mother and as for me the love that I have for her is far more than my life, If there's one person I cannot afford to lose is my mom. Like what I always say, love your mother now while you have the chance to express your how much you love them, show the affection that they deserve.

Lucky are those people who have experienced the love of a mother, and that is one thing I am very proud of, my mom may not be rich in terms of money, but when it comes for love, she is the best!...

American Idol -Top3 - Waving Goodbye to Allison Iraheta!!!

I am watching American Idol every week, this week I am really surprise about the outcome that Allison Iraheta was the one eliminated. Allison is not one of my favorite to begin with this season, but as I watched her every week, she is getting better and better and I never thought that after Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai was sent home that she will not make it to the final 3.

Like the judges says, maybe Rock is not for her, because I did not see something different from her during the Top 4 performance but still I never imagine that it will be her, I like Danny Gokey from his very first performance but compare from the last episode I thought he will be the one leaving the competition.



Now on the TOP 3, is Adam, Cris and Danny. I like how Adam performs, I like how Cris voice, and what I like from Danny is that he is very cool on stage. I am looking forward for their upcoming performance next week and Good luck to the three of you.

Our Heart - Hypertension and Blood Pressure!!!

We need to know the importance of out blood pressure. Is our blood pressure within normal levels?

Under pressure - there are two forces that make up blood pressure. One which is the result of the pumping blood into the arteries and through the circulatory system. The other is created by the arteries as they resist blood flow. The heart forces blood through the large arteries into the smaller arteries, or arterioles, when it pumps.

Need to learn - blood pressure is read as systolic pressure over diastolic pressure. An adult is classified to have high blood pressure if his blood pressure reads at 140 mm Hg (systolic), or higher for an extended time. If it lies at 120 - 139 mm Hg (systolic and 80 to 89 mm Hg (diastolic), it is at a "prehypertension" level and thus need to be given careful attention. On the other hand, normal blood pressure levels for adults lie somewhere lower than 120 over 80 mm Hg.

Basically what goes up can come down, a simple shift in diet and lifestyle can help control high blood pressure. Want to control hypertension? Plus your intake or saturated fat, total fat and bad cholesterol will dramatically decrease.

Another way of lowering high blood pressure is steering clear of sodium or salt. Avoid salty foods and use less salt when cooking and eating. Excessive alcohol raises blood pressure in some adults. It is best to limit if not totally avoid alcohol to keep blood pressure at normal levels.

Most people who have hypertension are overweight or obese. Therefore, it is a good idea to lose weight. As the pounds drop, so will the blodd pressure.

Lastly, nothing beats exercise or physical activity in controlling weight and lowering blood pressure.

The word "hypertension" has nothing to with being tense, nervous or hyperactive. In fact, a calm relaxed person can still have high blood pressure. "Hypertension" is a medical term for high blood pressure. It usually has no symptoms and one can have it for many years without even aware of it, which is why it is called "the silent killer".

Dragon Ball Evolution - Movie!!!

I have watched Dragon Ball Evolution movie couple of days ago, I am so happy to have seen this movie, I remember the first time I have seen the animated version, I was very young then, I even try to remember some of the character on the early part from the animated series, I know that Piccolo is his very first opponent but it he was around 15 years old in the animated series and they changes it in the movie, not too much effect on it, I must say.

The animates series is still far better that movie version, but of course we cannot expect that they will be able to copy the entire scenes from the animated series. I am only hoping that if they wish to continue doing the Dragon Ball movie they need to focus on how they can improve it, not totally the same as the original animated series but at least try to be more close to it.

I am still happy to have seen this, kids will still love this movie, really the reason why I am so happy is that it bring back my memory about dragon ball, and try to remember all the event that had happen on the beginning and yes Goku was sent to Earth for destruction but due to good upbringing and love he was able to change fate for believing in himself.

Some of my friends say that it's OK, some is disappointed about the movie especially those big fan of Dragon Ball animated series, but we still decided to watched it and good or bad we have something to talk about and we all have a great time.

X-men Origin: Wolverine!!!

I just finished watching X-men Origin Wolverine, it is a good movie, in the movie you will learn that Sabretooth and Wolverine are brothers, since childhood they are mutant and Wolverine abilities were enhance when he undergo experimentation with the substance or meteor rock that they obtain in the early part of the movie.

The story line is very simple, Logan/Wolverine just want to get revenge with his brother Sabrettoth for killing his wife without knowing that she is also a mutant like himself and she sacrifice Logan for this, in order to rescue her sister who is captive in Stryker laboratory for mutant.

Sabretooth was promise to undergo the same process that Logan/Wolverine had to enhance his abilities and he have realize that he is being used by Stryker for his wrong doing. His gather mutant from everywhere and get their best abilities to create a mutant weapon like what he did with Deadpool.

In the end Stryker was able to accomplish in eliminating Logan/Wolverine memory with the bullet that they have invented and shoot him in the head. He forgot everything that had happen, even his wife and Gambit who helped him.

The young mutant was able to escape and they found Professor X waiting and take care of them. If you have seen the very first X-men movie, you will notice that Wolverine has no memory of his past and he is trying to find out what had happen to him and we all know from the movie that he is a normal person and a victim of an experiment for it was never told ever since that he is already a mutant prior for him having his abilities and special bones.

The film is good, nice to know thing about where Wolverine and Sabretooth came from if you want your kids to watch this movie, parental supervision is really needed for I don't like the scene where they have to kill old couple who help Wolverine when he escape from the lab, I hope they were able to change that part for it really don't have a big effect on the movie but violence and killing.

I will still recommend the film to be watched, I have enjoyed.....Keep on smiling....

Congratulation!!! Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao...

Congratulation to Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao for his victory over Ricky Hatton today. He have proven himself to the greatest pound for pound boxer ever told once again. It was said that Ricky Hatton will be a very difficult oponent, but I was really frustrating that he was knockout on the last 10 seconds of the 2nd round.

I am not really into boxing but everytime Manny has a fight I never failed to watch it, today's fight is good and I never seen that kind of punch from Manny for a long time and I am sorry that it was Ricky Hatton need to endure it again. If you happen to see that punch, it was a solid punch, really strong straight to his jaw that had him unconsious.

AS many people says you have waited long hours to witness this fight that could be his greatest fight from all his oponent, but it end up to be very easy for Manny to defeat him. Hatton mentioned that he is younger and much better fighter to all Manny's previous oponent aside from the fact that his bit taller than his and he will be one to defeat him but sad to say he become the easiest to defeat amongst them.

After this fight would there be anyone wish to fight him any sooner for he hs proven himself more that enough as the best fighter for boxing. He once again mark a record that no boxer have ever done.

I am a Filipino and I am proud to be one, Filipino or not, I salute you Manny Pacquio, I am proud of you not only for bringing honor to this country but a person........Again Congratulations for this Victory and More Success to you, you have won again, you are trully blessed and we know that you always share your blessings like you always do....

Reformat Computer!!!

I have no computer at home for the past 3 days and took us this long before we have successfully reformat and reinstall everything. At first we have difficulty reformatting our hard drive fro we are using SATA, since this kind of hard drive cannot be easily recognize by Windows XP CD for reformatting and installing, I did some a little research that I need to update my Raid driver and I can only find it from the CD that came in with the mother board that I have.

Luckily we were able to find it and successfully reinstall everything. It really hard having no computer this long as if my day is really incomplete if I wasn't able to log in and do my daily activities online.

I am very thankful that we have already figred out how to fix this problem. I simply want to thank CJhay for his hard work in fixing this, and my officemates for giving me all the detailed information on how can I resolved this issue.
