I was not able to write about about what had happen to Vonage Outbound Welcome calling group. Vonage Welcome, is a team that calls up newly signed up customer of Vonage whom Vonage Welcome people called for any assistance setting up the service that they are getting from Vonage. The name Vonage Welcome was change to Vonage Onboarding Outbound, same principle call customers who might need asistance setting up the service.

I have worked for this department for nearly 3 years and it is really sad that this department has been dissolved by Vonage, and according to them this is a redundant for they already have Inbound Onboarding department who customer can reached if they have issues within 90 days after sign up.


I understand what they are doing this, yeah maybe Welcome Onboarding Outbound is redundant, but they could at least transfer us to different department where we can be of used. For me it is OK, being with company who cater Vonage for more than six years, they were able to transfer me to different Line of Business.

The rally thing that sad about this cessation is the parting time, for our department is really intact where in everybody and everyone is close to each other and the kind of relationship that we had is something that really hard to forget.

I am hoping that one day all of us will be able to get together, like a reunion. Right now I love my new department, it really challenging and some of my friends from my previous department "Welcome" is still with me, were like 12, who were transferred to this department.
